Bridget Bielich is entering her eighth season as head volleyball coach at Point Park University. She was hired to lead the program on Jan. 24, 2018 following a three-year stint as the program's assistant coach.

As head coach, Bielich has a record of 102-87 (.540), including five postseason appearances and two 20-win campaigns. In 2022, the Pioneers went 25-7 and earned a berth in the NAIA National Tournament.

Bielich has coached 22 all-conference standouts at Point Park, including four first-team selections and six RSC Champions of Character Award recipients. In 2022, Stephanie Rivera-Pacheco was named a second team NAIA All-American and earned RSC Player of the Year accolades.

Bielich came to Point Park in 2015, and she helped to continue a tradition of success for the program. With Bielich as lead assistant, the Pioneers made the NAIA National Tournament twice -- in 2015 and 2016 -- and she coached the Pioneers during their 2017 River States Conference Tournament quarterfinals appearance.

Prior to PPU, Bielich's resume includes five years as a volleyball coach at the club and high school levels in Pittsburgh.

On the club level, she served as Director of Volleyball for the P3R Volleyball Club, one of the top clubs in the area. She was also a head coach for the organization. Additionally, Bielich has been involved with the Southwest PA Volleyball Club and Pittsburgh Elite during her club-coaching tenure.

Bielich additionally has experience coaching on the high school level as an assistant coach at Oakland Catholic High School.

Bielich, a native of Bethel Park, Pa., had an outstanding playing career at California University of Pennsylvania. A four-year starter for Cal U, she was a part of three PSAC Championships and two trips to the NCAA Division II Elite 8. During her career, she earned two all-conference accolades and one appearance on the AVCA All-Region First Team. Bielich amassed 980 career kills and ranks second all-time in career hitting percentage for the Vulcans.
