PITTSBURGH -- With at least one point in every game last week, Point Park University center midfielder Kristina Stammer as named the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for games played Oct. 15-21.

Stammer, a junior from Daytona Beach, Fla., scored two goals and registered one assist to lead Point Park (8-6-1, 4-0-1 KIAC) to a record of 1-1-1 last week. Stammer's play helped Point to an unbeaten record of 1-0-1 in KIAC play for the week.

Stammer scored a goal in Point Park's 4-0, KIAC win over Asbury (Ky.) last Friday. That score gave Point Park some much-needed breathing room for a 2-0 lead.

On Saturday versus Cincinnati Christian, she pulled Point Park even at 1-1 with a goal on a penalty kick in the second half. That game ended in a tie to keep Point Park within a half game of first place in the KIAC standings.

Stammer also had an assist in a 4-2 loss to Pitt-Johnstown last Wednesday. For the year, she is tied for team lead with nine goals and has team highs of six assists and 24 points.
