FLORENCE, Ind. -- The 2021 River States Conference Men's Golf Championship is set for Monday-Tuesday, April 19-20 at Belterra Golf Club in Florence, Ind. The RSC's 11 men's golf teams are on site getting ready to play 54 holes across two days with the winner advancing to the NAIA National Championship.

The championship begins on Monday, April 19 with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. Monday's schedule features 36 holes with the 11 teams put into three somes. Each team will send out five players with the four best scores making up the team score each round.

The final round of 18 holes is scheduled for Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. with standings from the first day used to put the teams into tee times. The teams at the back of the standings will go off first, and the leaders will go out last.

The team champion will earn the RSC's automatic bid to the NAIA Men's Golf National Championship to be held May 18-21 at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill. The top individual will also qualify for nationals as the conference medalist.

Also at stake this week will be all-conference honors, which take into accout the scores from the fall preview and also the 54 holes Monday and Tuesday to determine first and second-team All-RSC honors. Also named will be the RSC Player of the Year, Coach of the Year and Newcomer of the Year.

Spectators will be allowed at the championship. Fans are asked to not interact with players during the tournament. All spectators, players, coaches and staff are asked to wear masks when indoors or in close proximity to others. Carts are available in the pro shop on a first-come, first-serve basis for a fee.
