ELKINS, W.Va. – Davis & Elkins avenged an early season loss to Point Park with a 5-0 victory over the Pioneers on Wednesday evening in Elkins.
Davis & Elkins scored four first-half goals, two by Johan Magana to open up an early advantage on Wednesday. Francisco Lopez Kreik, Modou Faye and Shemar Daley also scored goals for the Senators on Wednesday.
For the game, Davis & Elkins held a 13-6 advantage in total shots, including an 8-2 edge in shots on goal.
Points Park's scoring chances on Wednesday came from
Nathan Lastreto and
Francisco Martin.
Davis & Elkins goalkeeper Dante Ordenes recorded two saves and turned in a clean sheet in Wednesday's victory.
Point Park will wrap up the regular season at home next Wednesday against Salem University. The senior day game is set for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff at Highmark Stadium.
