PITTSBURGH – The Point Park women's basketball team will play its final Mountain East Conference game of 2024 on Saturday afternoon at Davis & Elkins. Tip is set for 2 p.m. at the McDonnell Center.
 
Storylines

• Point Park comes into Saturday's game with a record of 2-7 overall and 1-4 in league play.
• Last Wednesday, Point Park picked up its first MEC win with a 76-71 road victory over Concord in Athens. In the win, Point Park had five double-figure scorers, led by Aichata Ballo with 18 points. Ari Bleda chipped in 15 points, while Emma Pavelek recorded a double-double against the Mountain Lions with 14 points and 13 rebounds.
• In Point Park's last outing, the Pioneers fell to West Virginia Wesleyan, 62-48. Pavelek led three double-figure scorers for Point Park with 12 points.
• Pavelek is averaging a team-high 11.6 points and 4.7 rebounds to lead the Pioneers this season.
• Alexis Giles (10.6), Aichata Ballo (10.3) and Camille Fultz (10.2) are also averaging double-figure scoring for Point Park this season.
• Fultz is also averaging a team-high 7.8 rebounds per game.

• Jahniya Marion is leading Davis & Elkins on the offensive end, averaging 8.6 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. Jocelyn Gagnon is second on the team in scoring at 7.4 points per game.
