Pioneers, Bobcats Set for MEC Battle on Saturday

PITTSBURGH – Point Park hits to road for a Mountain East Conference matchup at Frostburg State on Saturday afternoon. Tip is set for 4 p.m. at Bobcat Arena.
 

Storylines
  • Point Park is 5-2 in its last seven games after a narrow 84-79 loss to league-leading Fairmont State. The Pioneers sit in seventh in the MEC standings with a conference record of 4-5 (9-6 overall record).
  • Freshman Aiden Miller, a forward from Austin, Texas, scored a season-high 23 points in Wednesday's game against Fairmont State. He also recorded 13 rebounds, marking his fourth double-double of the season. In the Fairmont State game, Miller achieved season highs in several categories: minutes played (40), three-point field goals made (4), total field goals made (9), and steals (2). So far this season, Miller has scored in double digits in seven of the 15 games he has played.
  • Point Park had four players reach double-figures against FSU, with Brenden Williams finishing right behind Miller with 18 points in the contest. Williams is second on the team in points per game (12.0) and first in total steals (13) this season.
  • Kaden Warner played the entire 40 minutes in the game against Fairmount State, scoring 14 points and providing five assists.
