PITTSBURGH- A converted penalty kick in the 78^th minute by Guy Lehrer and an incredible save by Gregorio Capponi gave Point Park a 2-1 win over West Liberty at Highmark Stadium on Wednesday night.

Point Park's Fridolin Gefrorer opened up the scoring in the match in the 36^th minute, finding the back of the net off an assist from Guiherme Galvao to give the Pioneers a 1-0 lead.

Two minutes later West Liberty answered back with a goal of their own in the 38^th minute as Leyton Collier scored the equalizer making it 1-1 going into the half.

Neither team would score again until Point Park drew a penalty kick in the 78^th minute. Guy Lehrer took the kick for the Pioneers, finding the back of the net for his first goal of the season.

In the 89^th minute Point Park keeper Gregorio Capponi called game, saving the penalty kick by Leyton Collier to seal the win for the Pioneers.

With the win, Point Park moves to 5-5 overall and 5-3 in league play while West Liberty falls to 3-5-3 overall and 2-4-2 against MEC opponents. Point Park heads back on the road this weekend as the Pioneers travel to West Virginia Wesleyan to take on the Bobcats on Sunday afternoon.
