PITTSBURGH – The Point Park men's wrestling program will travel east on Saturday to compete at the 2025 Shorty Hitchcock Invitational hosted by Millersville University. The event will get underway from the Student Memorial Center on the Millersville campus at 10 a.m.
 
Point Park will return to action on Saturday after having three student-athletes earn final placement at last weekend's Bob Del Rosa Ohio Open hosted by Case Western Reserve University. Aiden Burford led the Pioneers with a 5-1 record to rake fifth-place in the 141-pound weight class. He earned one tech-fall and four decisions at the event.
 
Isaac Placencia (165) and Charles Perkins (174) each took sixth-place in their respective weight classes at Case Western. Placencia went 3-2 at the event with two wins by fall and one by tech-fall. Perkins also went 3-2 with a trio of decision finishes (8-7, 7-0, 12-7).
