MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Point Park men's wrestling continued its inaugural season by competing at the 2025 Shorty Hitchcock Memorial Open hosted by Millersville University.
 
Aiden Burford led the Pioneers with a 2-2 record at the event. Burford won by fall in the round of 64 before picking up a 13-2 major decision in the round of 32.
 
In the 157-weight class, Jacob Kehrer was victorious in the round of 64, picking up a fall victory at the 4:29 mark.
 
Additionally, Liam Hein recovered from a first round setback to win by decision in the consolation round of 32.
 
Point Park returns to the mat on Friday, Dec. 5 with a tri-meet against Fairmont State and Wheeling. Fairmont State will host the event at Joe Retton Arena.
