PITTSBURGH – Point Park will step out of conference play to wrap up the month of December, beginning with an exhibition game against DI Robert Morris University on Friday night in Moon Township. Friday's tip is slated for 6 p.m.
On Saturday afternoon, Point Park will play a Division II road game against Ursuline of the G-MAC, with tip slated for 2 p.m.
Friday's exhibition game will broadcast live on ESPN+, with a live radio broadcast available on MountainEast.tv (Matt Palange, Ryan Quinn). Saturday's game will broadcast on the G-MAC Sports Network on FloCollege. Live stats from both contests will be available on PointParkSports.com.
Storylines
- Point Park is 1-1 in its last two games, picking up a 77-52 win over Davis & Elkins on Saturday (Dec. 13) and falling to Concord (78-64) on Wednesday (Dec. 17). Both games were at home.
- In last Saturday's win over D&E, Teshaya Anderson and Elizabeth Boyd each recorded 20-pont scoring performances, with Anderson scoring a team-high 22 points. Camille Fultz also chipped in 14 points and seven rebounds.
- In Wednesday's loss to Concord, Fatim Sarr Ndow led the way with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Anderson also reached double-figures with 10 points, while Sophia Moore chipped in eight points.
- For the season, Fultz is leading the Pioneers averaging 12.4 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. Boyd is second on the team averaging 12.3 points and 7.8 rebounds per game.
- Alexis Giles returned to the lineup on Wednesday after missing two-straight games. In five games this season, Giles is averaging 9.4 points and 2.0 rebounds per game.
- Anderson has reached double-figures in four straight games for the Pioneers and is fourth on the team in scoring at 8.1 points per game.
- Sarr Ndow is leading the Pioneers in the paint, averaging 7.4 points and 8.4 rebounds per game.
- Point Park is leading the Mountain East Conference in rebounding at 45.9 per game. The Pioneers also have the second-highest rebounding margin in the MEC at 9.5 per game.
