PITTSBURGH — Point Park is set to begin an important four-game road series against Frostburg State, the top team in both the Mountain East Conference (MEC) North Division and the entire conference. The series will take place in Frostburg, Maryland, with games scheduled for Friday and Saturday, both featuring a 1:00 p.m. first pitch.
Point Park enters the series trailing the Bobcats by two games. After winning four of their last five games, including three out of four against West Liberty, Point Park sits in second place in the North Division with a 14-6 conference record and a 25-11 overall mark. Meanwhile, Frostburg State is riding an eight-game conference winning streak and boasts a 16-4 record in MEC play.
