Harold Boyce repeated as the Mountain East Conference Pitcher of the Week on Monday afternoon, the league office announced.
Boyce, a sophomore righthander from Los Angeles, Calif., needed only 83 pitches to spin a 4-hit shutout against Wheeling on Sunday. Boyce was in control throughout, scattering four singles while striking out nine and not walking a batter. The Cardinals never got a runner past second base as Boyce improved to 5-2 on the season.
