BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Point Park outfielder
Mia Arndt was voted second team All-Mountain East Conference in softball, the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon following a vote of the league's head coaches.
Arndt, a sophomore from Robinson Township, Pa., batted .397 (50 of 126) with 12 doubles, five triples and one home run this season. She drove in 19 runs while scoring 25. In 43 games, she had a .595 slugging percentage and .449 on-base percentage while recording 15 stolen bases.
Arndt was also named the MEC Player of the Week after batting for the cycle against Wheeling on Sunday afternoon.
