Five Named to CSC Academic All-District Softball Team

PITTSBURGH – Five Point Park University softball student-athletes were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team on Tuesday afternoon, the association's awards committee announced via a national release.

The Point Park honorees included senior outfielder Remington Koi (Criminal Justice), senior first baseman Bella Magliocco (Education), graduate second baseman Julia Hill (Athletics Coaching & Admin), sophomore outfielder Mia Arndt (Education), and senior shortstop Melanie Taylor (Biological Sciences).

Members of the CSC All-District Team must have a 3.50 grade-point average and be a starter or key reserve during the 2025 season. Honorees must be a sophomore both academically and athletically.

Arndt, who earned second team All-MEC honors this spring, will advance to the national ballot and will be considered for CSC Academic All-America recognition. The CSC Academic All-America softball teams will be announced in June.
