BELLE VERNON, Pa. – Marissa Moriconi finished in 14^th place to lead the Pioneers at the 2025 Vulcan Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at the Cedarbrook Golf Course.

Moriconi, a senior, finished the event at +30. In the first round Moriconi shot a round of 85 to begin the invitational at +14. In the second round, Moriconi shot +16, shooting 87 in the round.

Gabi Wait also competed in the invitational for the Pioneers finishing in 24^th place. Wait, a sophomore, began the match shooting +27 in the first round with her round total being 98 before lowering her score in the second round, shooting 92 for a +21 in the round.

The Pioneers will be back on the course on October 6th to begin the MEC Golf Championships in Daniels, West Virginia at The Resort at Glade Springs. The championships run from October 6th through the 8th.
