ST. CLAIRSVILLE, OHIO – The Point Park men's and women's golf team traveled to St. Clairsville, Ohio to compete in the Wheeling Invitational at the Bellmont Hill Country Club on Friday and Saturday.

On the men's side, Point Park as a team shot +32 to finish in ninth place. Freshman Milo Thim led the Pioneers placing third individually in his first invitational as a Pioneer. In his first round on Friday, Thim shot a 69 to finish -2 under par before shooting 71 in round two for par on Saturday to finish -2 at the Invitational.

In addition to Thim, six other Pioneers competed in the invitational. Tharcisse Kalinda was the next highest finisher for Point Park, shooting +7 to land himself in 29^th place. Other Pioneers to compete were Kaiden Kohler (62nd), Joshua Topper (66^th), Cameron Huff (73^rd), Elie Bennatan (74^th), and Alex Zinz (78^th).

For the women, Gabi Wait and Marissa Moriconi both finished in the top 30 with Wait finishing 23^rd and Moriconi finishing 27^th. Wait shot +49 through two rounds while Moriconi shot +53.

Both teams will be back in action on September 8^th and 9^th as the Pioneers will travel to Charleston, West Virginia to compete in the UC Invitational at Berry Hills Country Club.
