PITTSBURGH – In its final competition before the Mountain East Conference Wrestling Championships next Saturday (1/31) in Glenville, West Virginia, the Point Park men's wrestling program will compete at the Jayhawk Open hosted by Jamestown Community College on Saturday morning. The event will get underway at 8:30 a.m. in Jamestown, New York.
 
The Pioneers returned to the mat in 2026 by competing at the Purple Raider Open hosted by Mount Union last Sunday in Ohio. The Pioneers had four student-athletes earn victories at the event, including Aiden Burford, Liam Hein, Charles Perkins and Oscar Simmons IV. Three of the four victories came by fall.
