Point Park (2-10, 1-3 MEC) dropped its match at West Liberty on Wednesday in three sets. Point Park was led in kills by Nicole Reasbeck who tallied nine. Marianna Oyola-Rivera posted a team-best 23 assists and tied for second on the team in digs at six with Lily Wright, trailing only Mia Arndt's 11.

REASBECK REIGNS
Senior Nicole Reasbeck is first among Pioneers this season in kills (97) and points (112). Additionally, her 10.0 blocks are tied for fifth on the squad.Â

Reasbeck's streak of four straight matches with double-digit kills came to an end last Tuesday against Frostburg State. She lit up the stat sheet in Point Park's matchup at Salem, posting 14 kills and 14 digs.Â

SCOUTING THE FALCONS
Fairmont State (15-4, 4-0 MEC) enters on a six-game winning streak which dates back to Sept. 12. The Falcons are the only remaining unbeaten team in MEC play. Three Falcons have eclipsed the century mark in kills this season, with Josie Nobbe (157), Elena Thompson (151) and Kailyn Connelly (104) accomplishing the feat.

Fairmont State has featured three MEC Players of the Week, with Natalie Zemba (Aug. 31) and Alexa Martin (Sept. 21) winning Offensive Player of the Week and Grace DeVall (Sept. 14) capturing Defensive Player of the Week.Â

SCOUTING THE HIGHLANDERS
Cairn (9-4, 1-1 United East) picked up a win over Notre Dame Maryland in three sets on Wednesday. Marah Lehman leads the team in kills (199) and points (216.5) on the season, with Liliana Magazzu's 193 digs pacing CU. Saturday's match will be the first meeting between the two squads, with Cairn being a member of the United East Conference in NCAA DIII Athletics.

SCOUTING PSU HARRISBURG
PSU Harrisburg (7-5, 1-1 United East) enters after winning its opening match in the UEC. Camryn Wettstone (143) and Briana Ondishon Ribon (133) both have posted triple-digit kills for the team, with Ondishon Ribon ranking second on the squad in digs (136) behind only Kate Bukowski (146).

BUILD THE FENCE
Point Park posted 13 total blocks in its match against Glenville State, by far its most in a single game this season. The Pioneers combined for 20 assisted blocks in the win, with Ece Cetin's five assisted blocks leading the squad. Savannah Kitchen, Calero-Irizarry, Oyola-Rivera and Sara Faith all posted three assisted blocks.

Leilani Fongyen posted two solo blocks, which was good for a team high. Sara Faith also added a solo block.Â

Against West Liberty, Point Park posted six total blocks. Ece Cetin led the team with five total blocks, and Marianna Oyola-Rivera and Carson Burgh both posted two. Cetin and Oyola-Rivera each recorded a solo block.

Point Park is tied for second in the MEC in opponent blocks per set, only allowing 1.54 per frame. The Pioneers are averaging 1.59 blocks per set this season.

Marianna Oyola-Rivera leads the team with 15 aces after tallying one against West Liberty. Oyola-Rivera is tied for the eighth spot in the MEC in aces per set at 0.38.Â

ALL-TOURNAMENT PIONEERS
Brooke Bednarski and Mia Arndt were both named to all-tournament teams in the 2026 season, with Bednarski earning a spot on the Storm Volleyball Classic All-Tournament Team, and Arndt making the team for the Wheeling Quad.Â

Oyola-Rivera and Bednarski are also Point Park's two leaders in assists, with 170 and 133 on the season. Mia Arndt leads the team with her 149 digs and ranks third among Pioneers in assists with 23. Arndt, a junior from Robinson Township, Pa., is seventh in the league in digs per set at 3.63.
