PITTSBURGH - Point Park men's basketball looks to rebound, Wednesday night, when the team hosts Fairmont State at CCAC-Allegheny. Opening tip is slated for 7:30.
The Pioneers (7-15, 5-12 MEC) suffered a close loss on Saturday night at Charleston, dropping the decision 86-82. Greg Williams led the Pioneers with 20 points, including hitting on 6 of his 7 3-pointers. Kaden Warner added 18 points and a team-leading seven rebounds.
Fairmont State (20-4, 14-3) fell to No. 7 West Liberty on Saturday, ending an 11-game win streak. The Falcons are 8-3 on the road this season, and picked up a 97-57 home win over the Pioneers on Jan. 14.

Aidan Anderson leads the Pioneers in scoring at 18.5 points per game, which is good for second in the MEC. He also tops the team in rebounding, averaging 5.7 per game. Anderson was named the MEC Player of the Week on Feb. 2.

Jaylen Stewart paces Point Park with 83 assists, a season high. His 3.8 assists per game rank fifth in the MEC. Stewart is also second in the conference in assist-to-turnover ratio at 2.4.

Kaden Warner is averaging 14.3 points per game entering Wednesday's contest, good for second on the team in points. Warner is shooting at a 96.3% rate from the free-throw line this year. Warner scored 32 points in last Wednesday's game vs WV State.

The Pioneers are third in the MEC in 3-point percentage (38.5%). PPU is averaging 11.2 3-pointers per game, which is fourth-best in the MEC.
