PITTSBURGH – Point Park men's basketball closes out its MEC and home schedule on Wednesday as they host the Wheeling Cardinals on senior day. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., with senior ceremonies taking place immediately following the women's game.

The Pioneers enter at 7-17 overall and 5-15 in conference play. They have dropped their last four games since defeating Concord on Feb. 7.

Wheeling comes in at 17-8 overall and 12-6 in the MEC. The Cardinals have won three-straight and seven of their last 10. In the first matchup between the teams on Dec. 3, Wheeling earned a 97-75 victory behind five double-figure scorers. Ayden Goll and Tee Harris led the way with 19 points apiece for the Cardinals. Aidan Anderson and Greg Williams each had 17 for the Pioneers.

STORYLINES

• Point Park ranks third in the MEC in three-point field goal percentage (.379).

• Despite attempting nearly 100 fewer free throws than any other team in the league, the Pioneers lead the MEC in free-throw percentage at 78 percent.

• Kaden Warner has missed just one free throw all season.

• Aidan Anderson leads the Pioneers and ranks third in the MEC in scoring at 18.1 points per game.

• Warner is second in the conference in three-point percentage at 41 percent and leads the team with 25 steals. He is also second on the team in scoring at 14.7 points per game.

• Jaylen Stewart leads the Pioneers with 88 assists this season.

• Point Park will honor seven seniors prior to the game: Aidan Anderson, Greg Williams, Jaylen Stewart, Rob Keys, Keelen Allen, Brenden Williams and Jalen Dunn.
