Point Park to Close Regular Season at Salem

SALEM, W.Va. - Point Park women's basketball will travel to Salem on Saturday for the team's final game before the MEC Championships. Opening tip is scheduled for 2 p.m.

Point Park (7-18, 4-16 MEC) fell to Wheeling in the team's final regular-season conference game of the 2025-26 campaign. Elizabeth Boyd scored 17 points and added 14 rebounds, notching her 11th double-double of the season.

In their final home games, Alexis Giles scored 10 points with four rebounds, and Camille Fultz scored 8 points. Kamryn Pieper scored 7 points with 12 rebounds on Wednesday night.

THE ROAD AHEAD

Point Park has qualified for the 2026 MEC Women's Basketball Tournament, having clinched the 10th seed. Point Park's opening matchup will be on Wednesday, March 7 at noon in Wheeling, W.Va.'s WesBanco Area. Point Park will play the No. 7 seed which is TBD.

Either Frostburg State or West Virginia State will take the seventh seed. If Frostburg State wins or both teams lose on Saturday, they will clinch the spot and the matchup against Point Park. In the event of a Frostburg St loss and a WV State win, it would go to the second tiebreaker, which is best win.
