PITTSBURGH – Point Park shot under 37 percent from the floor in a 93-73 setback against Glenville State on Wednesday evening at CCAC. With the loss, Point Park's three-game winning streak came to an end as the Pioneers fell to 6-13 (4-10 MEC).
At the other end, Glenville State shot 35-of-78 (44.9%) from the floor, including 12 3-pointers. GSU had 25 assists on 35 made baskets.
In Point Park's last three games prior to Wednesday, the Pioneers shot over 40 percent from behind the arc – making 42 3-pointers during the winning streak. On Wednesday, Point Park connected on just 10-of-36 from three (.278).
Aidan Anderson once again led Point Park with 24 points and nine rebounds.
Kaden Warner chipped in 13 points, seven rebounds and three assists.
Greg Williams also reached double-figures with 10.
Corey Boulden came off the bench to score 19 points for GSU. The visiting Pioneers also got 17 points from Elijah Redfern and 13 points and nine rebounds from Prince Mosengo. Jalen Knott recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 assists.
Point Park hits the road to take on Concord on Saturday in an MEC matchup in southern West Virginia. Tip is slated for 4 p.m.
