STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- Point Park track & field competed at Penn State's Sykes and Saybock Challenge, Saturday, with Chase Bowen, Dunya Van den Tooren and Jenna Manson all setting program records. The Pioneers featured a total of 10 new entries into the top five of respective events in program history.

Bowen set a new program record in the 800m with his time of 1:53.71, good for 13th in the event. Bowen re-upped his personal best in the 800m from his previous time of 1:55.06 - which was good for second-best in PPU history - on Jan. 16.
Bowen set a program record in the mile last week.
Dunya Van den Tooren continued her historic indoor season, setting a program record in the high jump. Van den Tooren's 1.72-meter mark secured her fifth-place on the day and improved on her previous-best mark of 1.70-meters from December, which was second in program history.
Van den Tooren set a program record in the pentathlon last week with her 3,400 points, and has been named MEC Athlete of the Week twice this season.
Jenna Manson set a program record in the weight throw with her distance of 14.10 meters. Manson re-upped her program record in the weight throw, having set the previous record of 13.58 meters on Jan. 16.
Akeem Mustapha also had an impressive day at Penn State on Saturday, finishing first in the men's long jump (7.15m) and seventh in the triple jump (13.67m). Mustapha set the school record in the long jump last season (7.45m) and currently ranks second in the MEC in the event this season.
