ATHENS, W.Va. – Aidan Anderson scored a career-high 34 points to lead Point Park to an 82-76 road win over Concord on Saturday afternoon at the Carter Center.
Anderson now has four 30-point scoring performances this season, including three times in the last five games. He finished the game shooting 12-of-20 from the floor, 5-of-6 from three and 5-of-5 from the free throw. He also pulled down six rebounds.
Kaden Warner chipped in 18 points, five rebounds and three steals, while
Greg Williams added 17 points, five rebounds and four assists.
The trio scored 69 of Point Park's 82 points in the game.
Point Park shot 42.7 percent (32-of-75) from the floor in the win, including an 11-of-30 performance from three (36.7). Point Park also went 7-of-8 from the free throw line and turned the ball over just five times in the win.
Savier McCall led Concord with 22 points and seven rebounds. Boubacar Djigo recorded a double-double with 18 points and 19 rebounds. Concord held a 50-40 rebounding advantage in the game.
Concord struggled from the field, though, shooting just 27-of-70 (38.6) overall and 5-of-28 from three (17.9). The Mountain Lions held an advantage at the free throw line, going 17-of-20.
Point Park returns home on Wednesday to host West Virginia State. The MEC matchup is slated for 7:30 p.m. from CCAC.
