BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. -- Aidan Anderson was named to the 2025-26 All-MEC First Team on Tuesday, the conference office announced.
Anderson led Point Park in both points and rebounds per game, averaging 18.8 and 5.9 this season. Anderson's 42 assists were good for third-best on the team. He was also named MEC Player of the Week on Feb. 2, becoming the only Pioneer to receive the honor this season.
A senior from Mt. Laurel, N.J., Anderson posted five double-doubles on the season to go with his 10 games scoring over 20 points. Anderson scored 30 or more points in four games.
Anderson's season was highlighted by his game against West Virginia Wesleyan in which he scored 33 points and added 10 rebounds en route to being named MEC Player of the Week. Anderson shot 71% (12-of-17) from the floor in that game.
Anderson sits in second-place in the conference in points per game in addition to ranking seventh in field goal percentage (50.8%). He leads the MEC in free throw percentage (88.0%).
Anderson and the Pioneers will begin the MEC Tournament, presented by The Health Plan, on Wednesday, when they take on Davis & Elkins. Opening tip is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. in WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, West Virginia.
