SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. -- Point Park track & field combined for 12 top-five finishes in program history, including new program records from Akeem Mustapha and Jonah Schneider, at the Shippensburg Mid-Week PR Bonanza on Thursday. Point Park totaled 39 top-10 finishes on the day.

Mustapha, who was named MEC Track & Field Athlete of the Week on Apr. 6 after setting PPU's program record in the long jump (7.89 meters), moved from second place to the top spot in the 100m on Thursday. He set a time of 10.49 seconds in his third-place finish.Â

Mustapha also tied his personal-best mark in the high jump of 1.95 meters - good for second-place in Pioneer history. He has cleared the mark three times with the first two being at the 2025 MEC Championships and at the Dave Labor Invitational on Apr. 4.

Schneider reset his program record in the discus with his toss of 44.92 meters. His toss was good for seventh place in the meet.Â

Mya Greschner, the 2026 MEC Indoor Champion in the 400m, improved on her second-best time in program history on Thursday with her 56.06-second time. Greschner took first place in the event.Â

Pedro Lemos won the 1,500m on Thursday with his time of 4:01.31. Lemos' time is good for fifth in Point Park history.

Alexis Ayitey improved her fourth-best time in the 100m hurdles, clocking in at 15.33 seconds - 0.02 seconds faster than her previous time. Ayitey finished in ninth place in the event.Â

Gavin Glass recorded Point Park's fourth-best time in the 110m hurdles in his fifth-place finish. Glass finished the race in 15.07 seconds.

Gabriella Wesney's toss of 40.97 meters in the hammer throw is the second-best mark in Pioneer history. Wesney finished in ninth place on the day.

Ben Williams moved into fourth place in program history in the javelin on Thursday. Williams' toss of 55.32 meters was good for second place in the event on the day.Â

Tanias Rojas entered the top five in program history in the 400m with her fifth-place time of 58.86 seconds.

Andrew Hartung reset his fourth-best mark in the pole vault on Thursday. Hartung cleared a mark of 3.95 meters - 0.23 meters higher than his previous high.Â

Makayla Rice recorded a mark of 10.84 meters in the triple jump on Thursday en route to a 10th-place finish. Rice's mark is good for fifth place in Pioneer history.
