PITTSBURGH -- Point Park softball is set for four home games over the weekend, hosting West Virginia Wesleyan on Friday and Davis & Elkins on Saturday in doubleheaders. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. on both days.

The Pioneers (7-16, 2-6 MEC) enter on a five-game losing skid, including four MEC losses over the weekend. The Pioneers were swept by Frostburg State on Sunday and by Fairmont State on Monday. Mia Arndt led the team with two RBIs and tied for the team lead in hits (four) with Ava Hubble over the weekend.Â

Wesleyan (8-20, 1-9 MEC) earned its first MEC win of the season on Sunday against Concord. The Bobcats have lost nine of their last 10 games, including seven of their last eight on the road.Â

Davis & Elkins (7-25, 3-7 MEC) enter as losers of two straight after being swept by Glenville State. The Senators are 3-8 away from home this season. D&E's lone conference wins have come from a sweep of WV Wesleyan and a win over Concord. D&E will take on Salem on Friday in a doubleheader.Â
