PITTSBURGH -- Point Park University Vice President of Athletics Scott Swain and Head Volleyball Coach Nicole Bajuszik announced its 2026 volleyball schedule on Friday afternoon. The Pioneers are set to play 29 matches and participate in two tournaments during the regular season.

The Pioneers open the season on Friday, Aug. 28, in Lake Erie's Storm Volleyball Classic. Point Park will take on Slippery Rock and Seton Hill on Aug. 28 and Lake Erie on Saturday, the 29th.

Point Park will play in Wheeling's Volleyball Quad before opening match play on Sept. 8 against Cal (PA). Point Park's home opener is set for Wednesday, Sept. 16, against Geneva, at the Point Park Student Center Gym.

Point Park will open conference play on Friday, Sept. 18, against Glenville State at home, the second of three-stright home matches for the Pioneers. Senior night is set for Monday, Nov. 2, when the Pioneers host Fairmont State at 7 p.m. The MEC Volleyball Tournament will be held the weekend of Nov. 12-14.

Following last week's announcement that Point Park has been granted full NCAA Division II membership in 2026-27, the Pioneers will be eligible for NCAA postseason for the first time this fall. The 2026 Atlantic Regional Tournament will be held over the weekend of Nov. 19-21.

Point Park will host a total of nine matches at the Student Center.
