WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. -- Point Park volleyball was downed in three sets by West Liberty on Tuesday night. The Pioneers fell to 2-10 (1-3 MEC) on the season with the defeat.

Point Park dropped the three sets by scores of 25-23, 25-20 and 25-20.Â

Nicole Reasbeck led the Pioneers with nine kills on the night, with Ece Cetin and Viktoria Zelubowski both adding five. Cetin led the match with her five total blocks, one of which was a solo block.Â

Marianna Oyola-Rivera posted a season-high 23 assists to pace the Pioneers. Oyola-Rivera led the team with her ace, and tied for second on the team in blocks (two) with Carson Burgh and digs (six) with Lily Wright. Mia Arndt's 11 digs led the squad.

The Hilltoppers (4-14, 3-1 MEC) out-killed the Pioneers 47-30 on the night, with Julia Brick leading the match with 14. Dakoda Keni tallied 40 assists as WLU edged PPU 43-27 in that category. Taylor Speake (18) and Jessa Anderson (10) both recorded double-digit digs on Tuesday night.

Point Park returns to action on Friday afternoon when it visits Fairmont State. First serve is scheduled for 3 p.m.
