Gavin Prosser is one of the best guards ever to play men’s basketball at Point Park. The Baldwin High School product ranks seventh in points (1,539), third in assists (473), second in 3-point field goals made (217) and 10th in steals (148) in the Pioneers’ all-time record book. He did all that in three years from 2004-07. Prosser was an NAIA Division II Honorable Mention All-American and a three-time all-conference player. A point guard, Prosser led the Pioneers to a record of 61-25 over three years, including 29-2 overall as the No. 3 team in the country and an NAIA Division II national tournament appearance in his senior year of 2006-07. Career averages included 17.9 points, 5.5 assists and 3.6 rebounds per game, 42-percent field goals, 75-percent free throws and 36-percent 3-point FGs.
