@PPUWoSo picks up another shutout on the road, improves to 3-3

BUFFALO, N.Y. – Four different Point Park women's soccer players scored goals in a 4-0 non-conference win over Villa Maria (N.Y.) College Thursday.

Bailey Boyd started things up for the Pioneers (3-3, 0-0 RSC), scoring off an assist from Katy Melhuish in the 25th minute.

Audra Lewis set up Noel Hartle for a goal just three minutes later, putting Point Park up, 2-0, over Villa Maria (1-5).

An unassisted goal by Nikki Polens put the Pioneers up, 3-0, heading into halftime.

Point Park sealed the deal with a final goal by Shayla Gebhardt in the 69th minute off a rebound in front of the net.

Morgan Willis recorded the shutout in goal for Point Park, stopping four shots. The Pioneers out-shot the Vikings, 38-5.

Today was Point Park's second road game in four days.

The Pioneers begin River States Conference action at Asbury (Ky.) University on Sept. 28. Point Park's next home game is Oct. 6 at 11 a.m. against RSC opponent Midway (Ky.) University.
