PITTSBURGH – The Point Park women's soccer team will host Frostburg State in a Mountain East Conference matchup at Highmark Stadium for Homecoming Weekend on Saturday morning. Kick-off is slated for 11:00 a.m.

Storylines

• Point Park has started off league play at 2-1 on the season picking up a 2-0 win over Wheeling and a 5-1 win over West Liberty before falling 2-1 to Fairmont State on Wednesday night.
• Against the Fighting Falcons, Sterre Kuijper scored her fourth goal of the season on an 89^th minute goal to erase the shutout. Kuijper is now tied for most goals on the team (4) along with Rebecca Pihlgren. Both Kuijper and Pihlgren are leaders in the MEC for goals scored.
• In the North Division standings, Point Park currently sits in second behind Fairmont State. The Pioneers have a 3-2-1 overall record with six points on the season. Frostburg State and Wheeling both sit at 1-1-1 in league play behind the Pioneers, while West Liberty rounds out the standings with a 0-4 league record.
• Last year against Frostburg State, Point Park fell 3-1 in Maryland before earning a 1-1 draw on Oct. 26 in Pittsburgh. In the 3-1 loss, Gilliane Stewardson scored the lone goal for the Pioneers. In the draw, Cara Spry hit the back of the net for Point Park.
• In the MEC, Point Park is second in goals forced with 20 on the season, the Pioneers are averaging 3.333 goals per game while opponents are averaging 1.00 goals.
• Goalkeeper Frederieke Rijlaarsdam currently sits in fifth place in the conference in saves as the keeper from The Netherlands has a .778 save percentage and has recorded 14 saves on the year in five games played.
