Men's Soccer Wraps Up Road Stretch at Wheeling on Sunday

PITTSBURGH – The Point Park men's soccer team will wrap up its four-game road stretch at Wheeling University on Sunday afternoon. Kickoff between the Pioneers and Cardinals is set for 12 noon at Bishop Schmitt Stadium.

After back-to-back wins against Salem (Sept. 29) and Davis & Elkins (Oct. 2), the Pioneers have dropped three one-point losses in Mountain East Conference road matches at West Liberty, West Virginia Wesleyan and Concord. Point Park enters Sunday's game with an overall record of 5-6-1 (3-6-1 MEC).

Wheeling has an overall record of 0-9-4 (0-7-3 MEC). In their last outing, Wheeling battled to a 1-1 draw at West Virginia Wesleyan.

In the first meeting of the season between Point Park and Wheeling, the teams battled to a 0-0 draw at Highmark Stadium.
