SALEM, W.Va. – The Point Park volleyball team capped the 2024 regular season with a 3-0 win over Salem University in non-conference play on Friday evening at the T. Edward Davis Gymnasium in Salem, West Virginia (30-28, 25-17, 25-18).
In addition to outhitting Salem by a .119-to-.063 margin, Point Park also held a 9-3 edge in aces and an 11-3 advantage in total blocks on Friday evening.
Giulia Follador led the way with eight kills and nine digs in the victory.
Haley Stormer also chipped in six kills and four blocks, while
Ana Baruh Krstic added five kills and four blocks.
Audrey Shull had a team-high three aces in the match.
Elise Wallace passed out a team-high 18 assists.
Eden McElhaney tallied 10 digs. Additionally,
Rachele Tessari finished the evening with seven assists and seven digs.
Salem got a team-high eight kills from MaKenna Long. Jocelyn Rios added six kills.
Point Park finished the regular season with a record of 7-20 (4-10 MEC).
