PITTSBURGH – Point Park volleyball will cap the 2025 regular season on Friday evening against Salem in non-conference action on senior night. The match is set for 7 p.m. at the Student Center.
 
Prior to Friday's match, the Pioneer volleyball program will honor three seniors that will wear the green and black for the final time. The Point Park senior class features libero Lily Marchand, outside hitter Alex Koontz and outside and middle hitter Marcella Erichsen.
 
Storylines

• Point Park and Salem will meet for the second time on Friday evening, with Salem taking the first matchup back on Oct. 14 in five sets. Nicole Reasbeck led the Pioneers in the first meeting with 23 kills, while Avery Budrys Rini chipped in 20 kills and 20 digs. Marika Righi led Salem in the win with 19 kills.
• Reasbeck leads Point Park in both kills (276) and hitting percentage (.166) this season. She also ranks second on the team in assists (48), and third in aces (24) and digs (207).
• Avery Budrys Rini ranks second on the team with 243 kills and 226 digs.
• Alex Koontz is third on the team with 173 kills.
• From her setter position, Marianna Oyola-Rivera leads the Pioneers in both assists (716) and digs (241).
• Point Park has two players with over 50 blocks on the season, including Patricia Calero-Irizarry with 60 and Savannah Kitchen with 55.
