YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Point Park men's track & field team set four school records and turned in six Top 5 program marks as the Pioneers opened the season at the 2024 Youngtown State Icebreaker on Friday.
The school record performances included
Luke McKenna in the 5000m (15:21.12),
Akeem Mustapha in the high jump (2.02m) and long jump (7.43m), and
Chevaughn Fletcher in the shot put (15.13m).
A trio of Pioneers also turned-in second place all-time times for the PPU program, including
Kamar Sutherland in the 60m hurdles (8.48),
Jannik Windelband in the 3000m (9:02.55), and Fletcher in the weight throw (15.67m).

Point Park will return to competition on Saturday, January 18 at the Jud Logan Memorial Meet, hosted by Kent State University.
