Final Results
LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Point Park women's cross country team placed sixth out of 29 programs at Saturday's Lock Haven Invitational. The field featured several regionally-ranked teams from the Mountain East Conference (MEC) and Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC).
Point Park placed three runners in the top 50 of the final results, led by Cassondra O'Connor in eighth place (21:45.4). Jana Schmid crossed the finish line in 32nd place (22:44.4) and Allison Plassio (22:57.8) finished in 49th place.
In the team standings, Walsh (56) finished in first place, followed by Findlay (101), Davis & Elkins (126), Tiffin (184) and Millersville (228) in the top five. Point Park (229) finished just one point behind Millerville to finish outside of the top five.
Ada Rand, an unattached runner, finished first with a time of 21:00.7 in the women's 6k race. Tiffin's Ines Macadam finished in second (21:19.1). The top MEC finisher was Lydia Falkenstein of Davis & Elkins with a time of 21:37.1 (5th place).

The Pioneers will travel to Louisville, Kentucky for the 23rd Annual Greater Louisville Classic next Saturday (Oct. 5) at the EP Tom Sawyer State Park.
