PITTSBURGH – Point Park women's soccer will play its final road game of the 2025 regular season on Sunday afternoon at Wheeling University. Kickoff is slated for 4 p.m.
 
Point Park is currently in third place in the MEC North standings with 18 points and a 6-6-4 overall record (5-5-3 MEC). Wheeling comes into the game with a record of 3-8-4 overall (1-7-4 MEC).
 
Storylines

• Point Park picked up a 2-0 win over Wheeling earlier this season at Highmark Stadium (Sept. 13). Paula Sole and Sterre Kuijper netted goals for the Pioneers in the game.
• Rebecca Pihlgren is leading Point Park in goals (9), assists (4) and points (22) this season. She ranks fourth in the MEC in goals scored and is tied for seventh in the conference in assists. Her 22 points are the third most in the conference.
• Sterre Kuijper is second on the team in points with 15. The senior and team captain has scored six goals while recording three assists.
• Paula Sole is third on the team in both categories with 12 points and four goals. She also has four assists on the year.
• In addition to Sole, Maria Gomez also has four goals on the season for the Pioneers.
• Austyn Burkett ranks second on the team in assist with three on the year.
• Pihlgren and Sole both have two game-winning goals to lead the Pioneers in the category.
• Junior Nicole Kuchinski has made the last two starts for Point Park in goal. On Sunday at Frostburg State, Kuchinski led Point Park to a shutout as the teams battled to a scoreless draw. On Wednesday against West Liberty, she allowed just one goal while recording five saves. She has a record of 0-0-4 on the season.
