Women's Wrestling Competes For The First Time at Tiffin Open

PITTSBURGH – The Point Park women's wrestling program will compete in its first-ever invitational event on Saturday at the 2025 Tiffin Open in Ohio. The event will get underway at 11 a.m. at the Heminger Center on the Tiffin University campus.
 
Point Park announced the addition of a women's wrestling program in January 2024 and has since recruited its inaugural roster. Head coach Joseph Lamplot joined the program in July 2025 and will lead the Pioneers into their first season of competition.
 
Point Park's inaugural roster features 10 student-athletes and the program will compete at 11 events this winter.

Following Saturday's event, Point Park will prepare for the Adrian Invitational, slated for Nov. 8-9 in Michigan.
