PITTSBURGH – On the eve of Thanksgiving, Point Park women's basketball will travel to Shepherd for an Atlantic Region showdown with the Rams. The matchup is set for a 2 p.m. tipoff from the Butcher Athletic Center in Shepherdstown, West Virginia.
Point Park is 2-0 on the season with a pair of non-conference wins against PSAC programs. In Wednesday's season opener, the Pioneers defeated Shippensburg, 56-50, before returning home to defeat UPJ at home on Sunday in an overtime thriller (73-68). Shepherd is 1-2 on the season.
Storylines
- Two games into the 2025-26 season, Point Park has four players averaging double-figures, led by Lexi Adams and Camille Fultz at 15.0 points per game.
- Through her first two games of her collegiate career, Adams is averaging 15.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game.
- Fultz is averaging 15.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game. Fultz scored a team-high 23 points in Sunday's home-opening win over Pitt-Johnstown.
- Alexis Giles is third on the team in scoring, averaging 13.5 points per game. Giles scored a team-high 14 points in last Wednesday's season opener at Shippensburg.
- Newcomer Elizabeth Boyd is fourth on the team in scoring averaging 12.0 points to go with 11.0 rebounds per game. In Wednesday's season opener at Shippensburg, Boyd finished with eight points and 10 rebounds. She followed up that performance with 16 points and 12 rebounds against UPJ on Sunday afternoon.
- Kamryn Pieper is chipping in 5.0 points and 4.5 rebounds per game as a starter, while Fatim Sarr Ndow is averaging 3.0 points and 7.5 rebounds off the bench as a post player.
