PITTSBURGH – Point Park volleyball will travel to West Liberty for a Mountain East Conference match on Tuesday evening at the ASRC. First serve is slated for 7 p.m.
Point Park comes into the match with a record of 3-20 overall (2-9 MEC). The two teams will be meeting for the second time this season, as West Liberty defeated Point Park, 3-0, at the Student Center back on Oct. 7.
Storylines
- Nicole Reasbeck is leading Point Park in both kills (246) and hitting percentage (.172) this season.
- Reasbeck currently ranks fifth in the league in kills per set (3.16). She also ranks fourth in the league in points per set (3.70).
- Avery Budrys Rini is second on the team in kills with 219, while Alex Koontz has drove home 161 kills to rank third on the team.
- Budrys Rini also ranks second on the team with 194 digs.
- Point Park setter Marianna Oyola-Rivera currently leads the Pioneers in assists (643), digs (214) and aces (31) this season.
- Oyola-Rivera ranks second in the league in assists and assists per set, and ranks seventh in aces per set.
- Point Park has two players this season with over 60 blocks, including Patricia Calero-Irizarry with 68 and Savannah Kitchen with 65.
