SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Point Park's Jared Campbell was named this week's NCBWA Atlantic Region Hitter of the Week, the selection committee announced on Thursday.
 
In Sunday's season opening twinbill, Campbell recorded five hits, including two home runs and a double, while totaling nine RBIs to lead Point Park. He also scored five times and recorded a stolen base on the opening day of the 2025 season.
 
With the two home runs, Campbell became the career record holder at Point Park with 44 home runs wearing the green and gold. Campbell hit a 3-run home run on Sunday against Bluefield State, while blasting another 2-run homer against West Virginia Tech in the late game.
 
Campbell was also named the Mountain East Conference Player of the Week on Monday afternoon.
 
Lock Haven's Garrett Starr was voted this week's NCBWA Pitcher of the Week.
