PITTSBURGH – Dunya Van den Tooren's third place finish in the heptathlon headlined Point Park's performances on Saturday at the Tim Weaver Invitational (West Liberty, WV) and CMU Invitational (Pittsburgh, PA).
Competing at WLU, Van den Tooren scored 3,754 points in the heptathlon event, headlined by her first-place mark in the heptathlon javelin (30.24m). Emma Roemer finished fifth in the event with 3,417 points.
The Pioneers also turned in five top 10 performances at the CMU Invitational, led by fifth place finishes by Lotte Zethof (400m hurdles) and Diamond Rush (200m). Jana Schmid also finished seventh in the 800m with a time of 2:19.85.

Point Park will return to action next Friday and Saturday with events at George Mason and Slippery Rock.
