BOSTON – Seventeen Point Park student-athletes will compete at the 2025 IC4A/ECAC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday and Sunday at the Boston University Track & Tennis Center.
The Point Park women are coming off a runner-up finish at the MEC Indoor Track & Field Championships, where the Pioneers earned 11 all-conference honors by eight different student-athletes.
Emma Pavelek won the MEC Championship in the high jump, while
Cassondra O'Connor (5,000m) and
Dunya Van den Tooren (high jump) turned in runner-up finishes to headline the Point Park performances.
This weekend eight members of the women's indoor track & field team qualified for seven individual events and one relay.
The Pioneer men took fourth at the MEC Indoor Track & Field Championship two weeks ago.
Akeem Mustapha led the Point Park men with a pair of conference championships in the high jump and long jump.
Kamar Sutherland also finished runner-up in the 60m hurdles to earn All-MEC accolades.
This weekend, the Pioneer men qualified nine student-atheltes in nine individual events and one relay.
