BOSTON – The Point Park men's and women's track & field teams wrapped up competition at the IC4A/ECAC Indoor Championships with four more top 10 finishes on Sunday afternoon.
The afternoon was headlined by a fourth-place finish by
Kamar Sutherland in the men's 60-meter hurdles (8.38).
Jannik Windelband also finished just under a school record time in the 1000m with a ninth-place finish in the event. He clocked a time of 2:30.04.
In the final individual event of the day,
Maxwell Goode finished just outside of the top 10 with an 11
th place finish in the triple jump. He turned in a mark of 13.24m.
The Pioneers also qualified men's and women's distance medley relay teams at the championship. The Pioneers men placed fourth with a time of 10:26.46 (
Chase Bowen,
Joshua Maurer,
Emile Raphael,
Jannik Windelband), while the women finished sixth with a time of 12:39.08 (
Lotte Zethof,
Paige Marnell,
Jana Schmid,
Allison Plassio).
In the final team standings, the Point Park men finished in a tie for 11
th with 24 points (with Northeastern) during the three days of competition. On the women's side, Point Park finished in a tie for 12
th place with Navy, as the two teams scored 18 points.
