PITTSBURGH - Point Park women's basketball will play host to West Virginia State in MEC play on Wednesday at CCAC-Allegheny. Opening tip is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
The Pioneers enter on a two-game losing streak, falling to 6-14 (3-11 MEC) on Saturday night, with its 71-56 loss to Concord. Elizabeth Boyd notched her third-straight double-double on Saturday with 11 points and a game-high 14 rebounds. Alexis Giles and Camille Fultz tied for the team high in points, both scoring 12.
WV State (8-13, 5-10 MEC) dropped their last game on Saturday to Fairmont State. The Yellow Jackets have lost five of their last six games. WV State leads the all-time matchup 2-1, including a win over the Pioneers on Jan. 10, 78-67.

Camille Fultz leads Point Park in scoring, averaging 14.9 points per game, good for ninth in the MEC. Fultz scored 12 points in Wednesday night's game. She has scored in double figures in all but four contests this season, including in 11 of her last 12 games. Fultz passed the 1,000-point scoring mark back on Dec. 3 against Wheeling.

Elizabeth Boyd is averaging 9 rebounds per game, which places her in fourth place in the MEC. She has eight double-doubles and three 20-point scoring performances this season. Boyd posted a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds on Saturday - her third-straight double-double.

Kamryn Pieper and Boyd both rank in the top four in the MEC in blocked shots. Pieper leads the conference at 1.5 per game, while Boyd ranks fourth at 1.2. Pieper has 28 blocks on the season, while Boyd has 23, highlighted by her four-block game vs Salem. Pieper posted three blocks on Saturday against Concord.

Alexis Giles will play in her 100th game in her career on Wednesday, and she has started 89 games. Giles surpassed the 1,000-point mark back on Jan. 17. She now sits at 1,087 career points. Additionally, Giles reached 1,000 total steals in her career against Davis & Elkins on Feb. 2.

As a team, Point Park leads the MEC in rebounding (43.4) and ranks second in blocked shots per game (4.35). The Pioneers posted 45 rebounds and five blocks against Concord.
