YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Point Park track & field will compete in the YSU Collegiate Last Chance Meet on Friday in the team's final tune-up before the MEC Indoor Track & Field Championships.
Point Park featured three new program records last week, with Chase Bowen setting a new best time in the 800m of 1:53.71. Dunya Van den Tooren's 1.72-meter mark in the high jump was good for a new program record. Jenna Manson shattered her previous program record in the weight throw of 13.58 meters with her toss of 14.10 meters.
Additionally, the Pioneers featured seven more entries into the top five of their respective events in program history.
