Point Park Looks to Rebound Against Charleston

CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Point Park women's basketball hopes to put an end to a three-game losing streak when it pays a visit to MEC-opponent Charleston. Opening tip is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. from Wehrle Innovation Center.

Point Park (6-15, 3-13 MEC) dropped its last decision on Wednesday night to West Virginia State 68-63. The Pioneers rallied from being down 7 points with six minutes to go to come within a point of a tie, but they ultimately fell short.

Charleston (15-8, 11-4 MEC) enter with a 9-2 home record and as winners of five of their last six games, including a two-game win streak. The Golden Eagles defeated Point Park 74-56 on Jan. 8.
