PITTSBURGH - Point Park women's basketball will host Fairmont State on Wednesday in the team's penultimate home game of the season. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at CCAC-Allegheny.
Point Park (6-16, 3-14 MEC) enters having dropped four straight games. The Pioneers featured two double-digit scorers in Saturday's 68-49 loss at Charleston with Alexis Giles scoring 15 and Camille Fultz scoring 14. Kamryn Pieper and Lucia Hervia each posted nine rebbounds on Saturday, tying for the team lead.
Elizabeth Boyd had built a four-game double-double streak which came to an end Saturday night. Boyd averaged 18.25 points and 12.5 rebounds per game over the streak.
Fairmont State (18-6, 12-5 MEC) dropped its latest game on Saturday to West Liberty 81-68. The Falcons defeated Point Park 80-56 when the two teams met on Jan. 14 in Fairmont.

Despite usually starting on the bench, Elizabeth Boyd is averaging 8.9 rebounds per game, which puts her in fourth place in the MEC. Boyd is third on the team in points per game with 12.6. She has 9 double-doubles and four 20-point scoring performances this season.

Camille Fultz leads Point Park in scoring, averaging 14.7 points per game, good for ninth in the MEC. Fultz scored 14 points in Saturday night's game. She has scored in double figures in all but four contests this season, including in 13 of her last 14 games. Fultz passed the 1,000-point scoring mark back on Dec. 3 against Wheeling.

Kamryn Pieper and Boyd both rank in the top five in the MEC in blocked shots. Pieper is third in the conference at 1.3 per game, while Boyd ranks fifth at 1.2. Pieper has 28 blocks on the season, while Boyd has 26, highlighted by her four-block game vs Salem. Boyd posted three blocks against WV State on Feb. 11.

Alexis Giles played in her 100th game in her career on Saturday, and she has started 91 games. Giles surpassed the 1,000-point mark back on Jan. 17. She now sits at 1,116 career points. Additionally, Giles reached 1,000 total steals in her career against Davis & Elkins on Feb. 2.

As a team, Point Park leads the MEC in rebounding (43.1) and ranks second in blocked shots per game (4.18). The Pioneers posted 40 rebounds against Charleston.
