PITTSBURGH -- Point Park men's lacrosse ends its three-game homestand on Saturday, hosting Holy Family at Highmark Stadium. Opening faceoff is slated for 4 p.m.

The Pioneers (1-1, 1-0 GMAC) earned their first win in program history last Friday, beating Malone 11-9. 

For the second game in a row, Grant Huber led the Pioneers in goals, adding three to his season total. Huber also added an assist to end the night with 4 points. Parker Bowersox scored a hat trick to go with his two assists. Bowersox led the Pioneers with 5 points, seven shots and six shots on goal.

Sawyer Leko added two goals and an assist. Alec Batchelor and Xavier Williams also dented the twine for the Pioneers, scoring their first collegiate goals.

Holy Family will open its season against Point Park. The Tigers' scheduled season-opener was postponed.

• Grant Huber's 3.5 goals per game leads the team and ranks third in the GMAC. His 4 points per game is fourth in the conference.

• Parker Bowersox ranks seventh in the GMAC in goals per game (2.5) and shots per game (7.5). Bowersox is averaging 3.5 points per game, good for ninth best in the conference.

• Goalkeeper Mario Lorenson ranks fourth in the GMAC with his 10.5 goals against average. Lorenson also ranks eighth in the conference in saves per game, averaging 11.5. His 7.5 ground balls per game is good for second in the conference.

• Parker Bowersox is the GMAC's fifth-best faceoff man, with a win percentage of 62.5%. Landon Carlson sits in seventh place at 60.6%.

• Kaden Brown leads the GMAC in caused turnovers per game, sitting at three.
